Calculators

Financial calculators that answer a decision, not just a number

Most calculators hand you a figure and leave you to work out what it means. These compare the options you are actually choosing between, on equal terms — same money out each month, same horizon — and tell you which one leaves you better off.

Every calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, stored, or logged, because there is no server on the other end to send it to.

Loans and debt

Every one of these reduces to the same question: does this money do more inside the loan or outside it?

Property

The largest financial decision most people make, and the one most calculators model badly.

Investing

What you can expect, what it costs to get there, and what you actually earned.

Why these run offline

A calculator that phones home is a calculator that knows your salary, your loan balance and what you are worried about. There is no good reason for that. The maths here is arithmetic — it needs no server, no account, and no analytics, so it has none of them.

That is the same principle the Klera app is built on. The app carries an EMI calculator, a SIP projector, side-by-side loan comparison and a tenure planner, plus a full loan manager with real amortisation schedules and investment tracking with XIRR — all working with the network off, on a database encrypted on your phone.

Klera for iPhone is coming soon

We’re putting the finishing touches on the iOS app — same private, offline Klera, built for iPhone. It’s not quite ready, but it’s close.
